Sissejuhatus m-õpesse ja ainetundide loomine

Mis on m-õpe?

M-õpe on õpe, kus kasutatakse õppetöös mobiiltehnoloogia vahendeid. M-õppe ehk mobiilõpe kõlab sedamoodi, et õppimine toimub ainult mobiilidega. Viimasel ajal on mobiilidest saanud eeskuju paljud seadmed, mida ei saagi enam nimetada mobiilideks, näiteks tahvelarvutid, muusikamängijad, mis sarnanevad mobiiltelefonidele, PDA. Täpsem termim oleks aga m-õppe jaoks kaasaskantavad tehnoloogilised seadmed, milledest õpilased saavad ise ammutada teadmisi. Sellisteks vahenditeks on ka GPS ja laptopid, fotokaamarad,veebikaamerad jne.

Mobiilsete tehnoloogiate eeliseks on nende sõltumatus asukohast. Seega ei pea õppima ainult klassiruumis, vaid tunde ja kursusi saab läbi viia kooliesisel, staadionil, ühistransporis sõites kooli,eksursioonil jne. M-õppe eesmärgiks on, et õpilased ei osale ainult kuulajana, vaid saavad ise luua uusi teadmisi ja tekitada kogemusi tänu mobiilsetele tehnoloogiatele. Mobiilõpet kasutatakse üsna sageli rühmatöödes.

M-õpet erinevates tegevustes ja erinevates ainetes. Pole ettemääratud, mida õpilased peaksid antud vahenditega tegema, vaid õpetaja saab luua tunni valides ise vahendid ja sisu mida õpetada tahetakse. Tavaliselt õpitakse ja saadakse kogemusi kasutades internerti, mobiiliprogramme, pildistamist, filmimist või asukoha määramist - sõltuvalt õpetaja entusiasmist, fantaasiast ja tahtest ainet rikastad(loe:rutiinist välja tulekust).

Tegevused m-õppe tundide läbiviimiseks

Rakendame osalusdisaini ja arutame koos kõik tegevused läbi.

1)Minul on valminud on 3 stsenaariumi näidist, mida arutame koos läbi. Koos leiame millised ettepanekud on valmis kirja panema, millised vajavad läbiarutamist ja mis ei sobi. Tähtis on, et kõik saaksid ette kujutada, kuidas sündmused võiksid reaalsetes olukordades toimuda.

2)Seejärel saadan osalejatele mailid stsenaariumite parandustest ja arutame veel kord läbi kirja pandu.

3) Edasi valib iga õpetaja endale ühe stsenaariumi ja proovib seda ainetundide raames läbi viia. Jäädvustame ka videokaameraga.

4)Esitan Teile ja õpetajatele küsimustiku tagaside jaoks.

M-õppe mäng

Järgnev m-õppe mäng on tehtud tuleva m-õppe kursuse jaoks. Antud mäng plaanitakse läbi viia sügises Kadriorus.

Mängu eesmärk: Õppida tundma parkides enam levinumaid puudeliike ja nende lehti.

Tehnilised vahendid: Ipod ja fotokaamera

Rakendused:

• Eesti eFloora Puud ja Põõsad -puude ja põõsaste välimääraja
• Ruler-pinna või eseme mõõtmiseks
• Twitter-suhtluskeskkond
• Twitpic-piltide üleslaadmiseks Twiterisse

Mängu käik:

Mängujuht tutvustab mängujooksul 4 pargis enam leiduvat puud. Iga puu kohta räägib mängujuht puu levikualast ja tunnustest. Seejärel lähevad mängijad uudistama puud ja püüavad rakendusest Eesti eFloora ja Põõsad üles leida räägitu ning vaadeldava tunnuste alusel antud puu nimetuse. Rakendusest nime otsimiseks on mängijatel kõige rohkem aega 4 minutit.

Pärast puu teada saamist pildistavad mängijad puud koos puulehega(puuleht lähedalt pildistatuna, puu kaugemalt) ning püüavad mõõta rakendusega Ruler puulehe mõõdu(cm). Pärast 4 puu määramist pannakse antud pildid üles TwitPic keskkonda. Sõnumisse lisatakse puu nimetus ja leitud lehe mõõtmed koos kursuse koodiga.

I think I fulfilled my actions. Despite of that my week reflections not came right time always. Anyway I am satisfied I compeleted all actions. At the course beginning I said I want use google tools. But I dont. Despite of that I had experiences before to use google tools in collobration. I used PBWorks, this was new for me. I hope in the future I will use this too. Also I used Weebly. I had with Weebly experiences before too. Also I think can more express myself in english than before.

I am glad I particpated in e-learing course. Like I said previous posts I hadent experiences before. But know I know how to do e-learning prototype and I have experiences to work in international group. If I look back these weeks I really enyojed comparing e-learning courses individually.
In group work we created e-learing prototype for middle-aged people how learning about social-networking. In group work we had problem at the beginning, because everyone didint paricpated right time. But we experineced we must not meet every week to do group work. Everyone can give their part individually too. But ofcourse collobration is needful during group work. Also is important to test e-learing course at beginning already.
I want to thank my faciliator Terje how gave appropriate feedback, construct needful course and materials . Also I want to thank all my group members who teach me a lot about e-learning.

I think I will deserve C. I think I had some errors in posts and at the beginning writing to my contract I didint know what to expect this course. But I think I did good job anyway and I really enjoyed this course.

WEEK 10: FINAL COURSE PRESENTATION, GROUPWORK EVALUATION

What is your evaluation of this week's groupwork? (What did go well and what did not? How did groupwork influence fulfilling your personal learning contract?)

In this week we only gave a feedback what we had done. We gave a grade and feedback to we final prototype. Manys in group was agree with A, but finaly we grade or group work with B, because we didint achive the aims. In we group task I loved we topic. Was good idea to do e-learning to middle-aged people. We course prototype gave a overview main social networking, so middle-aged can choose appropriate social software which they can use longer in the future. In structure I like that we course tasks was in diffrent pages so that is simple to find easily place.

What was the most important thing you learned this week? What kind of questions/ideas/experiences this week’s activities raised for you?

In this week I read about formative evaluation. This module talk about test your course already when you finished and helping if you are achiving goals. If you dont handle this way it may be risk for goals, unintended consequences and may occur unpredictiable sitations. During testing is very important collobration and evaluation. What a test plan should include can read more in a module.

WEEK 9: COMPILING THE COURSE

What is your evaluation of this week's groupwork? (What did go well and what did not? How did groupwork influence fulfilling your personal learning contract?)

In this week we finished main part of course. Everyone finished their part. When I look back these weeks I liked to give more. Maiby I am not the activest people in the group. Despite of that I think everyone has a new experinces. I preciate Alice, Maibritt and Chiara work. They was very active person. By the way everyone gave something to group work, still:)

As Terje commented Chiara 9 week post we challenging situations, try out diffrent strategies
and working international group. Main challenge to me was to share my work and school tasks. I am satisfied I did my own tasks on e-learning course. But despite of that I feel I could to try more.

WEEK 8: SETTING UP A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

a. Explain, which type of learning environment is best suitable for your e-learning course prototype?

We changed learing enviroment and we decided to put prototype to Weebly. Before I had used it already and its seems to be simple enviroment and user friendly. One thing what I missed there, that is everone get edit material via their own e-mail or personal accounts like PBWorks. In weebly we have common account. But this is only what I expect. Weebly is simple, easy to use, you can easily choose design:).

b. What was the most important thing you learned this week? What kind of questions/ideas/experiences this week’s activities raised for you?

In group I have task to introduce elderly people Twitter and Bebo. Bebo is popular social networking site,but for me it was new:).I explored deebly Bebo solutions like Bebo Authors and Bebo Mobile.

d. What is your evaluation of this week's groupwork? (What did go well and what did not? How did groupwork influence fulfilling your personal learning contract?)

Everything went well. We got new enviroment. Everyone did group work even if they was busy. In group was high spirit:) and I am happy about my group members even we have very diffrent experiences, but we have common vision how to do tasks.

WEEK 7: course material development

What was the most important thing you learned this week?

If I started this course I didint know how to do course protype in e-learning. I had many suspicious. I had been particpated 1 e-learning course. I didnt know anything in e-learning. Now I have experience how to do e-learing course. Especially I got experiences in group work. I am very satisfied I got many experiences how to e-learing protype, especially last weeks. I understood that it is very good if in group work as member who have lot of experinces. I learned group work dont need be necessarily at same time in Skype(we group collobration software). Maiby its necessarily at course begin.

Everyone did job very well. Like I said previously we didint do to work at same time. At begin we thought its negative aspect. But fortunately everyone did own part very well. When was need to correct other group member work, then we just edit.

Iphone ja IPad Touch on saanud üheks enim kasutatavateks tehnoloogiateks m-õppes. Lugedes inglise keelseid artikleid, siis tõdesin, et enamasti kasutatakse Apple tehtud rakendusi enam klassiruumides, kui õuesõppe tegevuste läbiviimiseks. Matemaatika on üks kindlustatuimaid õppeaineid rakenduste osas.

Järgnevalt on kirjeldatud GetYa Learn On poolt tehtud uuring, kus kasutati statistika õppimiseks Iphone. Abilene Christian Ülikoolis kasutati Iphone statistika õppmiseks 2009.aasta sügissemestril. Uudne mobiiltelefon oli loengute toetamiseks. Rakendus, mida Iphones kasutati kandis nime Statistic I. Rakendust kasutati loengute toetamiseks. Üliõpilased said IPhonest lugeda materjale, lahendada teste ning õppida eksamiks.
Statistic I sisaldab järgnevaid komponente:loenguid küsimusi, kalkuaatorit, valemeid,erialasõnastikku jne.

Järgnev video näitab lähemalt, millised on kasuatud rakendused.

Uuringus selgus, et Iphone kasutades suurnes akadeemilinevõimekus. Kindlasti oli oma osa selles ka motivatsioonil ja uudsel tehnloogial. Järnevalt plaanitakse õppetöös kasutama hakata juba Ipadi.

I read Kai Pata presentation. For me was new instrutactional research term and models. Instrutactional research help study people more effectively. Instrutactional research use ADDIE model which can use in effective learing curriculum(bihaviorism) Also there is Kemp indrotactional design, which can use if group is bigger. RD2D use social constructive learning enviroments. There students involved development process. RD2D design progerss is a spiral.

In my groupwork I learned its hard to find right time to do groupwork. We cant meet appropriate time. We are diffrent people. Its difficult to find time to get togheter in Skype. Luckily we did gropup work appropriate time.

As I said we didint find appropiate time to do groupwork together. Group work didint influence my fullfilling personal learning contract.

In my personal learning and in group work I do not use google apps. In group work we use PBWork, Skype and also Twitter and Facebookf for course design.

I think most I have leaned in group works. For my initial plan was to write in every week to my blog and comments others blogs. Unfourtnealy I havent gave my feedbach each other. My environment hasent changed so far.

To achive my goals I will read every week all materials in course page. If I cant read materials
currently weeks I am sure I will read them others week:) I want to know what others particpants think
about these materials. Also I read they blogs to get familiar every particpants in e-learing course.

Week4:What is your evaluation of this week’s groupwork? (What went well and what did not? How did groupwork influence fulfilling your personal learning contract?)

We had first skype meeting where we discussed our home work. I think all went well, because everyone in group paricpate in homework.This week we had group work. We met the with group members in Skype. Was nice to do group work which was multicultural. However everything went well. Everyone did work and wrote own things to shared Google Docs document.

Material-these must be cleared. Also there should be good grammatics and locigal designs.

Ofcourse there should be relavent topics.
Feedbacks- User get feedback by others learnens and facilators
clear interface- learnes dont be confused where they get needful learning objects
clear information- there are evaltion criteriars and goals, also tasks
involvment- I think its very important. Learners and facilator must be purposeful and
motivated to do many tasks

I have learned new methods. Most important thing what I have learend was how to do group work if you cant meet others

group members. For me it was first time do to group work in this way. One thing is how we get agreement which tools we can use. Second important thing is how management this group. I think I learned from every member something.

I think in my personmal learning environment nothing has changed. In group environment I am using collobration tools which I used before rarely.

I have a read a 8. chapter „Developing team skills and accomplishing team projects online “ by Debora C. Hurst and Janice Thomas. In the beginning e-learing could could be negative aspects for learners if they are scare working in team. If they are scare they would fail when they are using new techchnologies. In this point is very important other group members supports and minimize a stress. That encourages take risks and overcome challenges in team work.
People also must sharing information about they inviduals commitments others group members. This helping predict project deadline and how difficult is complete project. Subsequentaly are points if team wants to work in succesful way.

1. The deadlines must be met. This project was important to all.
2. Whoever was best able to lead on a particular task would do so.
3. Each member would contribute 150% to this project, and
endeavor not to let the other team members down.
4. Team members would raise a flag (let others know about tasks
not likely to get done on time).
5. Team members would pitch in to complete work as needed.

In this week I introduced my group members via blogs. Also we pondered which gropuwork communication tool we can use. We decided to use PBWorks. For me it was new collobration tool.

- My objectives: Why I wish to learn/do something, what is meaningful for me/for my group as part of the assignment I am responsible of?

I would like to use e-learning skills in secondary school.
For me is meaningful to know how e-learning works trough invidual and group works.

What resources will I need: What software tools and resources I am going to use? Resources can be people, different artifacts, materials.

I would like to use Google Apps. There I can use many applications which include
colloprations applications-Goole Docs and Google Chat. Also Standard Ediction include
with Gmail and Google Calender. Interesting softwre which I want to use is a Skype.

What is my strategy to achieve my objectives? What is the order of my actions? How will I use different resources in my actions?

How do I know that I was successful? Develop measurable criteria to evaluate your activities in respect of your objectives.
I know I was succesful If i read all materials in every week. Like I said in previous point
I want to read all blogs and also I want to comment them. If I do all these steps I am sure I am glad.

Reflect and summarize on course readings in your personal Weblog: What are the trends in e-learning and how do they influence online course design?

E-learing become popular. Student can choose appropriate programs and learning style. They cant be passive. In e-learing is very important collobration. E-learing helps grown students indepedencies to make choices and social skills.

One of the common e-learing trend that people who intrest something can work to togehter. If a student cares about something--if they have a passion for something--they can learn about it and they can actually produce work in the field and become a contributing part of that community.” (Hargadon 2008) The main thing is people cant be anymore passive. All people should make collobration.

Martin Weller believe that in the future have un-structured e-learning content managment systems. She belive the walled garden of the VLE provides a "trusted brand" (as Grainne Conole discussed at OpenLearn2007) which is very attractive to students. Otherwise, why would they want to pay us £3k a year for tuition - and then use Google?”

Most important things what I learned about was theorys for online learning. Which on students are in e-learing, how they behave there and how to teach them.

Introduction to IFI7139

My name is Ketlin Hiob and I am studying to become an informatic teacher in Tallinn University.

I live in Viljandi and for some time I live Tallinn also.
2009, I graduated from Haaplsau College of Tallinn University, where I studied an apply informatics.

I have worked with content managment systems before.For now I am teaching informatic to primary and secondary school.

I like to travel. Unfortunaly I have visited a few countries. I am sure in future this change. I love outdoor sport. Especially I like to running and skiing. My hobbie is IT where I like to use manys Adobe software.

I have used many social programs: Facebook, Orkut, Flickr, Twitter etc. Also I have used Wikiversity and Wikispaces.

I expect that I can ideas for my lessons and new skills as a leaner. Also I want to practising my English.

Esimese kodutöö hinnang

Oma esimese kodutöö tegin teemal "Sotsiaalsus pilditöötluses". Pilditöötlus tarkvarana kasutasin Gimpi. Minu õpimaastiku positivseks külgeteks on õpimaastiku rakenduvus. Meeldis see, et üks pedagoog, sai minu kodutööst idee, mida oma tunnis kasutada-õpilaste üksteise vastastikune tööde kommenteerimine. Minu õpimaastiku eesmärk oli ka see, et õpilased oleksid teadlikud erinevatest sotsiaasetest vahenditest.
Minu kodutöö üheks puuduseks oli vähene põhjendatus. Oleksin võinud põhjendada, miks ma valisin just need vahendid, mis mul olid õpimaastikus kirjas. Teiseks puuduseks oli skeem. Arvan, et skeem oleks võinud olla põhjalikum.
Hindan ennast 9 punktiga.

Reflektsioon-essee

Aines e-õppe metoodikad ja tehnoloogia raames tutvusin uute õpimaastikega ja kasutasin uusi kui ka vanu sotsiaalseid vahendid. Kodusedtööd koosnesid nii individuaalsest kui ka grupitööst. Nende käigus sai moodustatud õpimaastikud. Mõlemad õpimaastikud on fokuseeritud õpetamisele.

Minu esimene eesmärk oli teada saada, millised sotsiaalseid pilditöötlusvahendeid kasutada. Varasemalt kasutasin flickrit. Flickr on keskkond, kuhu saab riputada ülesse erinevaid pilte. Eesti fotosaitidest oli varem teadlik. Leidsin enda jaoks ja ka õpilaste jaoks Deviantarti, kust saab fototöötluseks ja digitaasleks kuntiks ammutada palju uusi ideid.

Pean siiski mainima, et minu koduste ülesannete käigus olid esiplaanil enamasti teada tuntud sotsiaalsedvahendid. Sellisteks olid msn ja flickr. Msni oli vaja kasutada nii grupitöös teiste kaasüliõpilastega suheldes. Samuti kasutasin msni, et küsida lisainformatsiooni loengu kohta.
Uutest vahenditest, millest sain loengus teada ja hakkasin kasutama, on pageflake. Pageflake oli abiks grupitöös, kus tegin rss blogid.

Minu teine eemärk oli teada saada, milliseid sotsiaalseid vahendeid kaasüliõpilased kasutavad peale msn, orkuti ja Skype. Teiste tudengite blogisid ja ettekandeid jälgides sain teada, et kõige enam kasutatakse flickrit msn ja skype. Väga palju uusi vahendid sain teada 2 grupi õpimaastikust, kus kirjledadi, kuidas nad viiksid läbi rahvusvahelist koverentsi. Grupitööd jagunesidki enamasti pooleks, kes kasutasid üldtuntudvahendeid(flickr, skype, msn, google docs) või vähem tuntud vahendid.

Koduse töö tegemise juures laabus meil hästi see, et kõik olid kohal aruteludel - kui oli kokkulepitud, siis olid kõik online. Lepisime kokku koduste tööde jaotuses ning seetõtu laabus kodutöö tõrgeteta. Ülesandepüstitus oli läbimõeldud . Ülesanded said hästi jaotatud ja täidetud.
Minule meeldis ka see, et emailitsi oldi aktiivsed ja avaldati oma arvamust, kommenteeriti ja täiendati.

Inimeste seas on olnud arvamusi, et sotsiaalsete vahendite kasutamine võib põhjustada väljaspool arvutikeskkonda sotsiaalset isoleeritust. Siiski julgeksin selle vastu väita. Toon oma kogemustest lähtuvalt paar järgmist näidet. Pärast orkuti kasutamist, olen saanud endale häid sõpru, kelledega varem suhtlesin vaid põgusalt. Kuna peale keskkooli ja kolledži lõpetamist, on sõbrad ja tuttavad jäänud erinevatesse Eestimaa kohtadesse, siis ei teaks ma nende tegemistest midagi, kui ma ei kasutaks sotsiaalseid vahendid. Arvan, et antud kurus kinnitas, et sotsiaalsete vahenditega võidab rohkem kui kaotab.

Meeldiv oli lugeda nii individuaalseid kui ka grupitööde õpimaastikke. Tundsin paljusid blogisid lugedes, et kaasõpilased tunnevad siirast huvi sotsiaalsete vahendeid kasutades. Lisaks uutele vahenditele sain teada, millised erinevaid õpimaastike saab teostada üldisemalt kasutavate sotsiaalsete vahenditega. Arvan, et kursus oli vajalik. Paljud õpetajad saavad ideid, milliseid vahendeid kasutada oma õppetöös.

Õpileping

Eesmärgid
1.Õpilepingu eesmärgiks on õppida kasutama rohkem sotsiaalseid vahendeid. Kuna mind huvitab pilditöötlus, siis soovin saada rohkem teadmisi erinevatest pilditöötlus veebilehtedest. Lisaks Eestis kasutatavatele spetsiaalsetele pildi ülesriputamise saitidele, soovin teada milliseid võimalusi kasutavad välismaiseid sellelaadsed veebilehed.
2.Teine eesmärk on teada saada milliseid sotsiaalsed saite kasutavad kaasüliõpilased kõige enam. Loomulikult arvan, et kasutatakse msni , Skyle, twitter ja orkutit. Tahan teada, millised üldakasutatavaimaid vahendeid kasutatakse veel , kuid mulle on need tundmatud või ma ei ole kasutanud neid varem.

Vahendid
Kõige üldisemateks vahendiks on msn. Samuti kasutan oma üldises kodutöös pilditöötlustarkvra flickr ja heade-ideede keskkonda deviantarti. Nagu eesmärkides kirjas, loodan hakata kasutama rohkem sotsiaalseid vahendeid kodutööde käigus.

Tegevused
Käin aktiivselt loengutes ning kuulan teiste ettekandeid. Kui ettekanne jäi kuulmata või esitluse käigus hakkas teema huvitavama, loen veelkord üle vastavad blogid. Samuti olen jätkuvalt kursusekaaslaste logidega.

Hindamine
Ennast hindan sel viisil, kui palju sotsiaalseid vahendeid ma olen tundma õppinud loengute käigus.

Õppematerjalid on saadaval Wikispaces nimelisest wikist. Wikispaces on spetsiaalselt õpetajatele loodud wiki. Wikispaces on olemas oragniseerija, kus mina(õpetaja), saan kutsuda teisi kasutajad oma liikmeteks(õpilasteks). Wikispaces on võimalik lisaks wiki loomisele, luua arutelusid, materjale üles laadida, tag'e lisada jne.

Kodu-ja tunnitööd

Õpilased saavad materjalide lähtmaterjale flickrist. Lähtematerjalid on materjalid, mida kasutatakse kodutööde jaoks. Materjale, mida õpilased saavad kasutada nii tunnitöödeks kui ka kodustöödeks on saadaval ülemaailma tuntud pildide ülesriputamise lehel Flickris minu kasutajakonto alt. Ideid on võimalik kogude deviantartist. Deviantart on võimalik üles laadida montaaže, joonistusi vms digitaalset kunsti. Samuti on Deviantart suurepäraseks ideede kogumiseks. Kasutame õpilastega Deviantarti kodu-ja tunnitööde üleslaadimiseks. Üleslaetud pilte on võimalik kommenteerida. Msn ja Skype teel saame üksteist aidata võimalike ideede leidmisel. Msni ja Skype teel on võimalik lihtsasti ja kiiresti suhelda

Tagasiside

Kui Deviantartis saavad ka õpilased tagasisidet anda, siis õpetaja annab tagasisidet ainult Vikos hindena. Viko on Tallinna Ülikooli poolt välja töötatud õpikeskkond. Samuti on võimalik ka seal hoida õpimaterjale.
